FAQs
What do I need to bring bring or prepare for my session?
You will be lying down so please bring a yoga mat, small blanket, pillow, and an eye mask. It is also recommended to bring lip balm to help with dry lips and bottled water.
For online sessions, please be prepare a space where you can comfortably lie down while continuing to be on video call showing your entire body.
Avoid eating a large meal 2.5 hours before the session, but don't come too hungry as your will need the energy for the breathwork.
Please wear comfortable clothing (ie, loose clothing or yoga attire) as you will be doing continuous active breathing for extended period of time.
Some participants may find the experience intense. Plan on resting or taking it easy for a few hours after your session.
What are some of the pros and cons for doing virtual sessions?
Some prefer being in the privacy of their own homes so they can let go of their emotions without getting distracted by or worrying about others.
The con is that, with online sessions, I am unable to assist you closely with the breathwork techniques. However, the body goes through the natural healing process even without close supervision on the breathwork and bodywork. The body knows to come out of it naturally.
Do you have an office? Why do you prefer in-home sessions versus renting an office?
Due to the nature of the therapy, conducting the sessions in-home provides a far better experience than renting an office, in my opinion. Each journey consists of 2 brief screaming therapy, which is our body's natural tendency to release anger. Emotional releases are also quite common. Crying helps people release guilt and grief. These are all science-based and I encourage clients to "let it all out." Most therapy offices or rental buildings will not allow this because they do not want to cause unnecessary panic in others. They also don't allow sage ceremonies or using real candles due to fire hazard. This takes away from the experience. However, if needed, I am open to renting therapy rooms based on your location (surcharge fees may apply).
How many sessions do I need?
It varies. Many people report seeing profound results after a single session, however, this is a very subjective question.
